Arborview Capital is focused on partnering with management teams to find optimal transaction structures and fair entry valuations, and to create significant value over 3 to 5 year investment periods. We seek to make large minority or control investments, and generally avoid multi-round syndicated deals.
We seek to invest in companies which:
- Address a large market opportunity within one of three Industry Sectors:
- Energy Efficiency
- Resource Efficiency
- Renewable Energy
- Have $5 - $30 million in revenue with significant market presence and customer relationships
- Are profitable or have a clear path to profitability
- Have low technology risk and low market adoption risk
- Have a strong and experienced management team seeking a highly collaborative partnership

- Energy Efficiency – Power plant efficiency. Industrial boiler efficiency. Building electrical and water efficiency. LED lighting. Lighting and building controls. Efficient building products. Transmission grid efficiency.
- Resource Efficiency – Power plant emissions control. Drilling and mining environmental services. Municipal and industrial water treatment.
- Renewable Energy – Distributed wind generation. Industrial waste heat-to-energy. Solar balance of system.
