KRISTY SHEA
Senior Associate
Kristy is a Senior Associate at Arborview Capital, where she is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities while providing support to existing portfolio company founders and management teams.
Prior to joining Arborview, Kristy was an Investment Officer at MicroVest Capital Management. She led due diligence and investment proposals for private debt transactions in financial institutions that provide microfinance and small-medium enterprise lending services in low- and middle-income countries and oversaw the company’s social impact reporting framework for external communications. Kristy began her career in investment banking at Citi before pursuing a social impact fellowship in Bangalore, India. During the fellowship, she worked with Patamar Capital, a impact venture capital firm, where she supported existing portfolio companies and sourced new investment opportunities.
Kristy holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment, where she specialized in energy systems and commercialization. As part of her master’s thesis, Kristy offered technology recommendations and cost-benefit analysis for microgrid development for flood-prone communities in Eastern North Carolina. She graduated cum laude from Virginia Tech with a BA in International Studies.
