CAROLYN FARLEY

Carolyn is a Partner of Arborview Capital, leads sourcing and evaluation of new investment opportunities, and works with our current portfolio founders. Carolyn has over a decade of experience investing in and supporting entrepreneurs to build high-growth companies that provide measurable value to society and to the environment. After launching her career at Goldman Sachs, Carolyn spent time as an operator with an early-stage education company before returning to investing in a venture role, where she led five new investments and the firm’s first portfolio company exit. Prior to Arborview, she helped to build the Energy Access strategy and portfolio for the Omidyar Network, a family office that has deployed more than $2 billion into impact investments. 

Carolyn currently serves on the boards of directors of Copper Cow Coffee and Kite Hill and is an observer to the board of Perch Energy, Soupergirl, and Alpen.

She also serves on the board of the Impact Capital Managers Institute, a network of 90+ market-rate impact investors, and on the Steering Committee for the DC Chapter of All Raise, an organization that accelerates the success of female founders and funders.  

Carolyn graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a BA in History and thesis honors. She holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business with a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation.
