The acquisition represents a significant step forward in Rain Bird’s mission to deliver sustainable irrigation solutions and expand the impact of its technologies and services.
Rachio will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Rain Bird and will continue to be led by Chris Klein, CEO and co-founder. Over the past 10 years, Rachio has built a strong following for its flagship cloud-connected smart irrigation controllers. The company has more recently introduced an award-winning smart hose-end timer and announced the addition of a new smart lighting control product. These innovative products complement Rain Bird’s established expertise in irrigation and water management solutions, creating new opportunities to enhance offerings for customers and communities worldwide.
